Capturing an Rare Image

Below on left is a photo of my wife’s grandfather holding the only known photograph of his adopted father on his lap in another photograph. Although the recaptured photo is not perfect, it fills a big gap in the photo history of her family.

As a side note, through the use of traditional and genetic genealogy, we were able to determine her grandfather’s real parents and discovered hundreds of relatives she never knew she had! Another family history gap filled.
